If anyone didn't see Bribo's link, here's the formal announcement of the L4D expansion:

My question is: will the 2 new versus campaigns be original content, or simply the two campaign-only maps updated for survival mode?

I think the more important part of the equation is the SDK and getting some new maps developed and then delivered by the system. I like versus mode, it's a blast - but I don't really play it that often. So just having more maps in general is really what I am looking forward to.

That being said... I still enjoy playing on the maps we currently have. It never feels 'repetitive' to me. Blowing a zombie head off with a shotgun just doesn't get old. ;)

I don't have any problems with the gameplay itself and the new levels and developer SDK will certainly rock and extend the games longevity.

My biggest gripe is the network code which seems a bit buggy (frequent drops, problems finding servers, etc) and the fact you can't see a list of servers and join the one you want. They've dumbed down the whole "Join a Server" options (I blame the console kiddies!).

They need to tighten their network code and provide a server list like CS:Source.

You're not using the Server Browser? Helps a ton. Search by game, map, difficulty, ping.
