Ok, I have been out of the tech loop for a while now, while I know very much about turbocharged gasoline engine applications, my computer knowledge has been pushed aside. My question is, I have 256 megs of RDRAM, PC800 and all that. I think I remember hearing that all of the chips have to be the same size, i.e. to get up to 512 I would need to add two 128 meg units in addition to the two I already have. Is this right or am I way off, would some please school me on this? Also, once I get it figured otu does anyone know where I can get a hold of some fairly cheap RAM, I need to upgrade so I can play this crazy Planetside I have heard about.

you're right. you may want to up the amount of ram to help improve performance (i'm sure with georgeson behind the project, it'll be a crappy/buggy/slow game). not sure where to get cheap ram. crucial.com doesn't carry rdram (bastards), and i haven't bothered with upgrading my computer in such a long time that i forget where i get sticks of ram.
www.newegg.com to the rescue!

Thanks for the site Hale. I have one more question. I was looking at my support site, and it said that the RIMMs have to be matched in identical amounts in sockets 1 and 2 OR 3 and 4. Does that mean that if I am running two 128 Meg units it 1 and 2 and two 256 meg units in 3 and 4 it will work properly?

Yes it will work fine. As long as they are paired up right.
2 128's
2 256's
It will work fine!
