I'm in ... EA is forcing me to use AK_Abdn. Game does not appear to look significantly better than BF:BC2, but really stresses my system. Not sure what's driving all the GPU usage, since there isn't a quantum improvement in appearance. I hate the web-based game browser, and I hate having to run Origin.

Ab.. are you using an older video card that isn't utilizing DX11? I think the graphics are much improved over BFBC2. I'm getting pretty decent performance out of my 470 SuperClocked using the NVIDIA Beta drivers they are recommending.

The only person from AK I have approved friend request from is Gunny. If any of you are playing, please add SBHylander.

Oh, and I also applied for the Platoon as well. At least I think I did as I have no idea who the person who created it is. ;)

Nah, using an Nvidia GTX 560 Ti. Good card. I'm running the latest beta drivers turned for the BF3 beta. I'm getting about 45 fps with everything maxed at 1920X1080. The game seems jerky though ... I don't like the look of it that much.

Sent you a PM ... Send me your address and I'll mail you my old 260GTX. It's a DirectX 10 card with 1 gb of memory. Can be OC'd well too.

Are the BETA stats transferring over to the game at launch, or will everything be reset? If they transfer, we're losing out on platoon points not being earned.
