    Sig 556

Since the future of gun legislation is uncertain, I've decided to pick up a Sig Sauer 556 SWAT side folder. The rifle pictured below is the same, except for a slightly shorter barrel. The SWAT version does come with a Surefire LED foregrip light, though.

It's been a few years since I've had a cool rifle. Looking forward to it. Not sure which scope I'm going to pick up yet.

    Hasta,

Sweet ... that is a nice gun.

Just saw this on MSNBC ... about how gun sales are increasing before the election. Looks like you are part of a trend :-).

    What's the price on that?

We bitter Pennsylvanians can never have too many guns or Bibles....

man that is nice! If you want to have fun with it look for something called 3-gun matches.

Street price is about $1,600, although the non-SWAT models can be had pretty easily for about $1,300.

I've been looking at 3-gun matches for a few years now but my shotguns are for birds. (Super Black Eagle) I'll probably pick or a Benelli Super 90 next summer and try some 3-gun. My SIG 229 should be fine for pistol.

This thing looks so fun. Sig Saur makes some good stuff. Guaranteed this is one of the models that will be unavailable with future legislation. Pretty brave of you to admit ownership in an open forum.

The Dems will take away our freedoms and stifle dissent. It's what they do best.

I doubt we'll hear much from those who complained loudly (and ultimately, laughably) about Bush doing the same.
