    Question Biography!

    Hey guys,

As one of the newbie recruits who hasn't been around long, I thought it might be a decent idea to 'introduce' myself to the group.

I found out about AK through Bill (Squidly). I've 'known' Bill for a few years now as we are acquaintances on the Seattle Seahawks newsgroup and we live just a couple hours apart here on the East Coast.

I'm 30, live in Bethlehem, PA & have been married to my wife Cheryl for 4 1/2 years.

I graduated from Radford University in VA with a BS in Economics & a BBA in Finance in 1995. I am currently 5 classes shy of earning my MBA from DeSales University. I'm the Marketing & Technology Manager for Riegel Federal Credit Union located in Milford, NJ. I've been 'interested' in computers and technology pretty much since 1992 when I was put in charge of one of the University computer labs under a work/study program. It was then I was introduced to the internet and IRC/mudding. (Cont. in next message!)

One of my concentrations in my MBA program is E-Commerce (great time for that huh?) and I've always been interested in how business - technology interact and helped bring online banking to our credit union.

Although I've been gaming since 1992, a majority of my online 'gaming' has come in the form of online racing simulators. Although I have gone through periods at EveryQuest, Counter Strike, and a few other titles as 'diversions'. T2 has been the first to keep my interest more than a couple of months though.

Other hobbies include football & autoracing which makes Sundays tough when the racing season and football coincide! Thank god for PIP! I have actual racing experience in the SCCA where I raced Spec Racers, Sports 2000s and some GT-1. Watkins Glen was my home track (I'm originally from Elmira, NY).

OK.. I think that's long winded enough to introduce myself!
    :p

    Cool

Bethlehem, eh? I was there this past weekend for the Celtic Classic festival! Small world. Good to see a fellow Pennslyvanian in the forums.

I was Squidly's roommate in college. So I've known him since the beginning of his Seahawks obsession.

There's actually a huge thread on bios in the members only section... Hopefully someday you'll be able to read it

    Faxman,

I live right in the middle of the Historic district of Bethlehem and suffer the wonderful no street parking situations due to Celtic Fest!

Although its much, much worse during Musikfest of course. At least the Histerical, I mean Historical, Society blocks off a couple of blocks for resident parking during Musikfest as Celtic Fest is only a few days vs. 9 days of Musikpest.

Have any left over Hagis? (sp)

    Steak

Unfortunately, I left Bethlehem a present that consisted mostly of quite a few beers, haggis, and the contents of my stomach in a gutter downtown. Heh, can't wait till next year...
