    Transformers 2

The Transformers Sequel is being partly filmed here in Bethlehem, PA on the old Steel property. It's part of the opening sequence and ironically enough, the old Steel buildings are being created as a Chinese city. I guess Transformers are now built in China too!

Anyways, here's a shot of the blackhawks over the blast furnaces.

There's another shot. Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson are in town - but no signs of Megan Fox.

Actually those are from people in our Photography Club. I was down there last evening, but I didn't have my camera with me as I was coming home and hadn't stopped there yet. But the crowds are insane. Everyone trying to find a spot on the Minsi Trail bridge, etc. to get a view.

But you can see the helicopters flying along the Lehigh River very well from the 3rd floor of my father-in-laws house.

Unfortunately I don't think she's in any of the scenes Bribo. The scenes shooting here are at the beginning of the movie and involve the military personnel I believe. I think they are raiding a counterfeit Transformer factory owned by Kathy Lee that is using child labor in China. But I could be mistaken...

I missed her and she was staying less than 2 miles from my house...

Hollywood star Megan Fox has come and gone from Bethlehem before most residents even knew she was here.

Fox, one of the stars of "Transformers 2," has already checked out of the Hotel Bethlehem, said Dennis Costello, the hotel's general manager.

Fox presumably was in town to film a scene at Bethlehem Steel for the DreamWorks movie about giant shapeshifting robots from another planet. It's not clear when Fox was on the set, but filming for the scene began Monday night and ended this morning.

As of this afternoon, crew members could be seen packing up their equipment on the former Bethlehem Steel site.
