I've never had an issue anywhere in NJ...top to bottom...and I've seen it all.

2008 Wireless Call QualityJ.D. Power and Associates announced the results of its latest study concerning quality of cell phone calls. Verizon Wireless ranked number one in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and West Regions, and tied Sprint for number one in the Southwest. Alltel ranked well in the Southeast and North Central regions. Notably absent from the rankings are AT&T and T-Mobile. J.D. Power surveyed 22,000 people and asked them about dropped calls; static/interference; failed connection on the first try; voice distortion; echoes; no immediate voice mail notification; and no immediate text message notification.

I would concur with this assessment.
My AT&T experience has made me realize why people throw their phones.
I have never had such frustrating service before. I am currently considering just cancelling my cell phone service all together as horrible as the experience has been.
I think in our area they have just oversold the network and there is simply no room so good luck trying to place or recieve a call.
Ironically text seems to work ok. But if I wanted to text all day I would have gotten a moblie card and used my laptop.
