I know I made a post about running WoW on my laptop that dual boots to ubuntu, but I can't seem to find it ATM...
Results: I see ~20 more FPS in ubuntu using wine than in vista. same video settings, same hardware.

I know when I switched between XP Pro and Vista Ultimate I would see a discrepancy of ~20fps as well.
