Finally--GTA 4 on PC

Just surfing around this morning and spotted that GTA IV now has the "Games for Windows" logo on its official site. A couple of fan sites put the release date at November 18th--anyone else going to pick this up? Multiplayer on the console version sounded pretty cool.

I've enjoyed GTA San Andreas (although admittedly haven't gotten too far along, damned WoW addiction!!), so I'd be up for trying GTA4. Can you multiplayer on PC?

I haven't seen one way or the other, but I can't imagine that they'd drop multiplayer from the PC version after having it on the consoles.

Meh..... GTA IV was poorly written and was very much over hyped. After playing it for a total of about 15 hours now, it's a nicer looking game then previous games in the series, but as far as quality and content, it's not where near the game that San Andres was. I'd suggest you pass on this unless your chomping at the bit to play the MP mode.

Quite surprising! You're the first person I've ever heard say anything negative about it. The idea of loading up a team of AKs into a car to take on rival "gangs" sort of reminds me of good ol' Interstate 76.
