    IGN gives it 9.6

I am compiling my own, but after one night of play this is a very solid buy.
It's a totally different type of game than F1 and F2, but it does nothing to disgrace the memory of those two. The tone is right so far, and the gameplay is fun and engaging.

On the PC, it doesn't suffer from consolitis. Nuff said there.

The V.A.T.S. gives it the feel that F1 and F2 had. I'm glad that is there. Plus the ability to just do combat the good old fashioned way. I have been flip flopping between 1st person and 3rd person view. I'm saving up the cash to build a Rock-it Launcher now :-)

I soiled my Mac Pro for it. Start soiling, it's worth it.

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.

I'm enjoying FO3, but I'm still having a little trouble with the overall objective of the game. Maybe I'm just over-thinking things. But basically, it's sort of like a simplistic WoW type quest/leveling system. I understand there is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to play the game and you can be good, bad, indifferent - find your dad, don't find your dad, etc. But what am I really trying to accomplish? Or am I missing something?

    Find your dad, damn it.

    Or don't.

    I don't really care.

    I want Dogmeat.

Anyone else done the Blood Ties quest yet?

This made me laugh out loud for real. I must have some daddy issues, plus my tenth birthday sucked, and I just lied about enjoying it.

My two year-old (I think) PC runs Oblivion very well. Can I expect it to run Fallout 3 equally (or nearly) as well?
