    Wraith, if you're still here...

    i remember you saying you're a UBB dude. I have a question for you... was UBB ever free? If so, you have a clue as to what version? I have a copy of UBB 5.43a and I want to use it for my website but not if it's stolen or cracked. There's no licensing info in there so I know it was "cleaned" by someone but the .nfo file said it wasn't cracked.

    he was a ubb guy. best known to the ubb community as the one of the earliest and best ubb code modifiers. then infopop, makers of ubb, abruptly ended their association with him. over what, i dunno. i think it was the new ubb 6 or something related to it.

    as for your situation, it's most likely stolen or illegally distributed. i wouldn't say it's cracked because technically you can't crack a ubb in this manner. usually, the .nfo file itself is an indication that something's not right. getting it from a source not related to infopop (in this case) is also another indication.
