    A Bridge to Microsoft?

One of the few that doesn't bug me. It's an infrastucture public works project that should outlive us all. Yes, Microsoft is getting a disproportional benefit. They're also paying for half in cash, and I'm betting only a tiny fraction of there total tax contribution is going to it.

Every project smells a little. This one smells less than most. If it was being done for The United Way, no one would complain.

I'm all for infrastructure projects when necessary but in a recession this one seems unnecessary and largely benefiting one private company.

How many roads and bridges could be repaired with the money going to this one project?

I'm with Bribo on this one. My state's deteriorating interstate system could use this money more, as I'm sure many others could, and would benefit far more people than just the employees of Microsoft.

This seems like more of a convenience thing than a necessity.

People other than Microsoft employees will use the overpass.

Microsoft is by FAR the largest employer (and tax payer) in the area.

    Read that last sentence carefully.

Having and keeping a company like Microsoft in your town is a good thing.

There's not enough pork in the entire stimulus package to fix the roads in Pennsylvania. I've seen pot holes so large that the national geological society is giving them "Mt." names....
