    Stumped - Error MSG

Anyone got any ideas about this one......only happens on my wifes comp when using or closing IE. She is using IE7 currently....all current patches and fixes are applied. She runs a firewall and anti-virus that are current.

I have uninstalled IE and reinstalled it. It happens with no other program she uses.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help.

    Try this:

IE Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab, uncheck 'Enable
Page Transitions' under the 'Browsing' section.

Might try disabling any other Explorer add-ons or use Firefox which is what I do. Much faster and more secure browser.

There are literally thousands of things that could be going on to cause a message like this. It could be what you're running, or even something that you had installed years ago that didn't completely uninstall when you removed it.

At some point, the only out is to do a wipe and fresh install of the OS.

I'd try a different browser first.

In my experience, IE8 > IE7. I'd definitely try that upgrade before a format.
