Go to att.com/mywireless to add a plan. To enable MMS, connect iPhone to computer & click Check for Update in iTunes, then restart iPhone. Reply stop to end mktg msgs.

Most people with iPhones have a message plan. I guess the charges are incurred if you overrun that plan.
