What are the thoughts on BF:Bad Company 2

I am going to be coming off the road here in about a month and I looking at probably settling down to a normal pace of life. Anywho how is the new BF? Is it pretty good? I know a few of the releases since the Vietnam haven't been all that. If it is pretty good I may have to go out and pick up the new one. I do miss the BF games. Still like BF:Vietnam and DC a lot may see if I still have any of those still installed.

The sound is all about the wood and the pickups. Bartolini all the time...

I am really enjoying the game. First decent FPS in a long while from my point of view. Graphics are great as long as your machine is pretty new. It takes a bit of horsepower from the CPU, memory and graphics card as well as a good internet connection to get the most out of it.

The maps are pretty well designed, and the "destructible" world is cool. Any building, house or tree...etc etc can be blown up or shot.

Vehicles are a blast, but the choppers are a bit hard to fly IMO.

Hit detection and varying lag/ping rates between players can be a bit frustrating at times though.

It will be a long time before i get bored with this one.

I enjoy it and there seems to be a decent amount of AK playing when ever I jump on which is a bonus.

Thanks for the heads up. When I get settled I will be grabbing a copy. Will be good to get back in w/you all. I may even dig out Vietnam and see if I can still get that working.

Love it, just wish I had time to play games at the moment. Coaching and two jobs is a killer :-(
