Wow, that's a lot of Apps Hylander.

Here are the noteworthy ones I've installed on my EVO.

Dolphin Browser. The default Android browser blows. I like Dolphin much better.

DoubleTwist. Again, the default browser blows. DoubleTwist is good, but it's sync function isn't. So I use MediaGo on my PC to sync, with decent results.

Swype. Simply amazing. Best Keyboard for a touchscreen ever. A bit of a learning curve, but once you get used to it - wow.

Google suite: Chrome, Sky, Maps, Googles - basically everything. All of it amazing.

Tricorder: Cool little app that turns on all devices on your phone and gives you status updates/access to each one. Eliminates need for Apps like Compass, etc.

KeePass: Encrypted password storage app. Handy, but you can't update it on the fly, which is a shame. I tried using 1Pass first, which is awesome on the iPhone, but is just bad on Android.

    MyTracks: Perfect for jogging

Calorie Counter (by FatSecret): I like this one because it syncs with my computer automatically, and has a built in barcode scanner. Ad supported though - annoying.

WeatherBug Elite: Bought this one - think it's a very good weather app. I like the interface better than Weather Channel.

RealCalc: Good calculator, let's you do RPN, which is a must for this engineer. Don't like the way it double enters into the stack upon "Enter" though.

    Dictionary: handy

PKT Auction: Good app for Ebay

P&Otracker: (adware, which is annoying, but good app for married guys!)

    Periodic Table:

    QuickOffice

OIFile manager: Like it better than Astro, because no annoying adds. Otherwise, it's pretty much the same thing as Astro.

ConvertDroid: Like this one better than Unit Converter, which has annoying adds.

    Exchange: for currency conversion.

Flashlight: An EVO specific app(?). Cell phone flashlights have come a LONG way.

    Kindle

Audible (which is OK, but seems to like to make me randomly log in)

AK Notepad: I'd use Evernote, but from the description, you have to have on-line access for it to work - which is lame.

Movies: for checking out what's playing. I think it's addsupported though.

OsmAnd: a good map/GPS app for off-line usage. When traveling international, cell phone coverage can't be relied upon, and this one is pretty good.

Yeah, I should probably remove the ones I don't use but space isn't really an issue anymore.

Curious why you are having problems with sync on DoubleTwist? I find it's absolutely perfect. It sync's over wifi with one button. You open it up, select what you want to sync, hit sync and voila. Last night my iTunes had an update on my desktop and I thought I should just remove that pig off my system, as DoubleTwist is so good now I have no reason to keep itunes since I don't purchase anything from there.

I don't have any utility app recommendations that haven't already been listed, but I do have a few games that I have found to be pretty awesome:

Alchemy - this is not the alchemy that you may be thinking of. This is a great little casual game that you can pick up and play for 5 minutes at a time (although I often get sucked in for much longer). You start with 4 elements - earth, water, fire, and air. You drag and drop the icon together to make new "elements". The long-term goal is to unlock them all...I think now they are up to about 400. Trust me, it's worth trying.

Bubble Blast 2 - simple but addictive puzzle game with roughly 1000 playable levels. Currently my favorite android game.

Bistro Cook - very fun but can be fast paced and at this point I kinda suck at it, but it's still fun.

Traffic Jam - fun and simple puzzle game involving moving cars and trucks around to get the target car through the exit.

Oh, and a non-game - I use Craigsnotifica as a craigslist crawler. Great for notifying me when an ad with my desired keyword is posted, and very easy to set up.

Same as Swae, I can't add any other apps to the list that aren't already there. But, for games, well...

Robo Defense - similar to lemmings, but instead you build mazes to destroy'em. Incredibly addictive and continues to be challenging as you climb the levels.

I've been dabbling with many more, but Robo Defense is probably the best one so far. Others so far include, Gem Miner, GalaxIR (modified risk), Guns 'n Glory (a mix of robo defense and red dawn redemption), Star Traders (RPG), and Island Settlers (Tile strategy with dice)

I'm using the USB connection, and find that it takes something like 2 to 8 hours to do a synchronization. I don't know why, but it is a 16 GB card in there.
