Time for a new home router

Can anyone recommend a good home router preferably available on NewEgg? I'd like to get something with 8 wired ports, and a current wireless configuration. At this point I'm not up to speed on the current wireless specs available.

    Thanks!!

    Thanks Rocks.

Question though, does this mean that it will only allow 1 wireless connection at a time??

    1 x 10/100/1000M WAN; 4 x 10/100/1000M LAN
And I do like the Traffic Meter, that sounds like it come in handy.

Edit: OK, I think I answered that question myself... It looks like all the wireless routers have that same (or near) statement so it must mean 1 port to many devices.. That only makes sense..

Recently purchased a Netgear Rangemax Dual Band Wireless N Gigabit Router (WNDR3700). Very pleased.

I would also suggest the NETGEAR WNDR3700.

The WAN port is the connection to your modem, the LAN ports are the 4 hardwired connections - 1 per PC

So prior to installing the new router, remote desktop was working like a charm. Since then, no luck at all. I have 3389 forwarded the way I would typically do it, but it's still not working. I'm not even able to connect through the LAN, non-the-less through the web. Nothing changed on the machine that I'm attempting to connect to..

Am I overlooking something here? I'm sure that's what it has to be, so just curious if anyone else with this same router has had this issue and could help to resolve it.
