Heck, I just started playing BF:BC2 a couple nights ago and I'm hugely impressed with that one!

I'm looking forward to this in a big way. Nice to see a Battlefield title getting the same kind of push as the Call of Duty series. I just hope they keep their eyes on the multiplayer prize.

It looks like it needs some serious hardware to run it. I may have to build a whole new system. I am still running old PCI components. Looks like an upgrade will be a whole new system for me, but looks worth it.

HA! You should look into a career in standup...

On other BF3 news, my dumb-ass has a 7 year old machine, so I'm biting the bullet and building a whole new setup just for this game. I'm thinking speedy quad-core SLI setup with an SSD for the OS and things like BF3.

Seems like these deals always end up costing $1,500 but at least I'll be bleeding edge for a few weeks or so.

Gonna pre-order next week so I can get my Remington 870 to try in BFP4F. Nothing pisses me off more than getting one-shotted by a twelve year-old with a shotgun, so at least I'll be able to try and return the medicine...and see if I'm now so damn old that I have to rely on automatic weapons.
