    Shannekh: "For Old Time's Sake"

Titus Hammaker, wealthy land owner and farmer in West Shannekh and dear friend from your father's Legion days, has sent for you urgently on a matter of great importance. It seems that Titus' son Marcus has been missing for sometime now after leaving on a hunting trip into East Shannekh with a group of his friends. Unable to search for his son on his own, Titus asks you [and your party] to search for his son and either return him home or find conclusive evidence of his demise.

This mission of good will (and fortune...the guy's wealthy, right?) will take you and your party through East and West Shannekh, the Hur Lai Temple, Catacombs and Labrynth, the Bittertooth Mountains, including the ominous Bittertooth Castle high atop the peaks, and finally to Kandor, feared City of the Dead in search of Marcus and his friends. You will also find an [as of yet] unamed mine and crypt in your travels. Additionally, you'll find along the way that there's much more going on in Shannekh than the simple disappearance of an old family friend...

This module should be completely terraformed in a couple of days, but I'll be relying heavily on Squidly to provide the thickened storyline and addition of monsters. I'm pretty happy with what I've got so far (about 12 areas of the 18 or so planned are complete), but I think the completed module will be a sight to behold... Stay tuned for more updates...

Sounds good. Sign me up. Will we be creating new 1st level characters for this adventure/campaign? Will they be server characters only? Will we play on set nights? Will there be a DM playing with us and intervening/fleshing out the story line? Will we all get on TeamSound together while we play for better communications?

    Thanks!

With my time constraints (kid, Void practices 3+ times a week) it would be wise to distribute the load a bit. Initially I can work on a dungeon (doing so now). Once that's done we can take it from there.

    Question

Z, are you using the default 10% XP modifier? I stuck with the default XP awards for my module, but are there plans for an AK standard?

it may not be right, but if we are going to play these modules as a clan. perhaps we should "gear" the gear towards the characters that will play in them.

Ditto to all the questions Bribo asked <G>, except for the TeamSound part as I don't use voice communication software due to "environmental" concerns.

The only reason I bring up voice comms is it might make the DMs job a little easier and save a bit on verbose typing in interactions with NPCs. It'll also give a bit more of the pencil n paper feel to the game.

I guess I wouldn't have a problem using it to receive the communication since I use headphones. I just can't use the microphone as talking at hours not convenient to "The Boss" is not a good thing.

I look forward to playing this in a multiplayer environment.

    Bomb

    ROFLMAO!!

Unfortunately, my computer room is very close to our bedroom and my wife usually goes to bed well before I do since she has to get up for work earlier than I do.

So it's a "consideration" issue, yeah that's what it is.
