Some a-hole stole my CD Key!!!!

I checked the EA site and it says that I need to send an email to the "appropriate department". It would be nice if they gave the email address or the department name, but I don't see either. Does anyone know where I can find the info? Or does anyone have it?

Further, I'm supposed to send a picture of my CD case - but since I don't have a digital camera or a scanner, I don't see how I'm gonna pull that stunt off. I never remember seeing those two items in the minimum system requirements.

This really pisses me off! I wish they would at least give the ip of the a-hole using my key. I'd like to have a little talk with the SOB.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks guys.

BTW...in case anyone is wondering. I deleted my internet files, my internet history and uninstalled then reinstalled the game - per EA's recommendation. Still no luck ...

I think 'office' stores like Staples have the ability to take digital images in one form or another.

Yeah, that's true, but I'm not going to put any money into this - just out of principle.

I think I'm just going to ask Michener for his CD key when I see TTT with him on Wednesday (Hale you know who I'm talking about). It's not like he ever plays the game.

    Try this link:
    http://eatech.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/e...nduser/ask.php

    Or:

If the CD Key for Battlefield 1942 will no longer work when connecting to GameSpy you will need to send the following information to EA Games Support:

    1) Name
    2) Phone number
    3) Address
    4) Email address
    5) Serial Number (CD Key that is not working)
    6) Attach a photo of the back of the CD-ROM jewel case showing a legible copy of the CD Key

Or you can fax this information to EA Games at 650-628-5900.

    Good luck. :-)
    Hasta,

    Dude, try this e-mail Support20@ea.com
I would get a digital photo of the back of your case. it's a small price to pay to get a new key. It's better then shelling out another 50$.

Also, it would be a good thing if you did register the game before hand. They may ask for a copy of a sales reciept.

But once you get your picture of your case, send that info to support20@ea.com and it will take about 8hrs for them to process the information.

    Stitch ... stitch...stitch... You're the man ..

I still have two major problems. I use a CD Carrier to hold my games and discard the Jewel cases becasue they just take up space. I have my CD keys in a spreadsheet. And then, of course, I don't have the digital camera.

I'm totally screwed if I can't find the case, but I do have a friend with the game that never plays it, so I might be able to get his key from him.

I also don't have the sales receipt. If they ask for that, I'm just downloading the random key generator and stealing someone else's key.

You do that and you won't play with AK any longer.

    That's a fact.

Do you really think that if I would have paid for the game in the first place if I was going to do something like that? Geez....
