Well, I've begun reinstalling BF:1942. I have to redownload the 1.2 patch though. I tried 1.3 (figured I might as well give a shot since I already installed it) and after 30 seconds of playing on a server the game exited and my desktop just had a blue background (the icons and start menu were still there). Needless to say, this patch is definitely buggy. I'll be ready for tomorrow though so no worries. My sound problem has left though so that's a + at least.

That's right, I'll be close by and ready to TK anyone who tries to play with the 1.3 patch. Just consider me the Color Blind Quaterback. :-)

Evidently you can simply re-applt the 1.2 patch over the 1.3 patch to revert back to 1.2/ THe TWL staff did this and had no problems jioing 1.2 servers. No full re-install necessary.
