Out of the box I got 15259 (IIRC, I have a screenshot) On 3DMark 2001 SE
After a bit of driver tweaking/updating, I got over 16000.
Only downside so far is the fan system. The 3/4 fans are loud enough to peel paint.

Cool!
I'm in a "holding pattern" when it comes to PC upgrades. So far my PC is still on this side of the edge in terms of being able to run everything I run at a minimum satisfactory level for my desire of eye candy / FPS.
I have a slight bit of maneuverability built in as my motherboard can handle the XP2600+ 266 fsb if I choose to do so. For under $200, I may do that to upgrade from the XP2000+
I'm still waiting to see what cards AMD plays this summer before I choose and upgrade path.

The 2ghz AMD should be fine for another year at least. My 1.5 GHZ pentium was having some performance issues with Raven Shield and Unreal 2. Nothing too severe, but I noticed stutter from time to time.
Now I run at 1280x1024 and they all run smooth as silk.

Update - I picked up a couple of fans that are supposed to be super-duper quiet... I'll see how it goes tonite.

People always make fun of my Tornado 1000, and my overclocking is 'minimal' anymore. People called the Tornado case my "Hover Craft" because of the sound of all the fans. =)

Nice! That bastard must have cost a pretty penny. I'm jealous.

So do you juggle sharp knifes, swallow swords, cross interstates while blindfolded, and play Russian Roulette too?!?! ROFLMAOThe set-up wasn't without hiccups, however. I was "multi-tasking" my installs, downloading the Battlefield 1942 1.31 patch while installing ACDSee, and playing around with some files at the same time, when WinXP dropped me into a "Blue Screen-O-Death".
When I install programs, patches, and updates in Windows I shut down all applications, hold my breath, Do a little safety Dance, and pray to the Technology Gods for a proper install. I think the most dangerous thing I do is browse the internet while downloading patches and then close it before the actual 'install' process.

I could have hand built it and saved $200-$300 or so. On the other hand I saved almost that on the free shipping deal they had earlier this month.
I'm not "anti-building"... I'm an advocate of both building and buying. This time I felt like buying.
I'd be interested in seeing how much more "vicious" you think you could build (at the time of my purchase.)
Aside from bigger disks (I have 2 80 gig drives in a Raid 0 config) and more memory (I have 1 Gig of RDRam) there's not much faster you can go pre-overclocking.
The picture of the monitor is already on my site at squidly.com.

Wewt, quiet fan is in place... had a bit of a scare popping the old heat sink off. The grease was so sticky the CPU came out and bent a couple of the pins.
:P
