i've been trying to get the game to run at 1280x1024, by forcing it in one of the .con files.
problem is i don't know which one i need to edit to force this resolution.
anyone know?

Edit your VideoCustom.con file within your Bf1942/Settings/Profile/ folder.

i also have Road to Rome installed.
does it make a difference, cause the folder were the VideoCustom.con is located is a different folder from what you posted.
Strange. That works for me. You might have to do some searching for the right .con file with the video settings. Changing the video settings off of the menu system in game doesn't work for you?

the in game menu works fine.
but the in game video menu only gives me a max resolution setting of 1280x960.
at 1280x960 the game doesn't fill the whole screen, thats why i want to figure out what .con file i need to set to get 1280x1024.
