    Video Card OC

I have my relatively new Ti4600, downloaded RivaTuner, and I'm afraid to change anything.

Is there some sort of guide for conservative, moderate, and aggressive OC settings for each type of card?

Is there another program that's more hands off?

    Thanks!

I'm looking for something good that'll work with WinXP. I'm ready to take my 3.06 up a notch.

Guys... you need the program called "PowerStrip". It works great and I'm using it in XP Squid.

I have a Ti4600 128mb and I'm currently running the clock at 325.35 and the memory at 702.00 Nothing too 'risky', just a tad with no additional cooling. It's been running this way for months ever since I got the Ti4600 and I've never experienced a lock-up I could contribute to the card and my case temps are fine.

If you guys can't find the program, let me know.

Power Strip is great! Thanks Hy!

I'm up to 321 and 688 with no problems right now. I'll bump it up a few more notches over the next few days.

I only have a paltry 6020 2001 score, but most of that is probably from my PC100 memory.

    6000(ish) 3DMark 2001 score? Ouch!

That's 2000 lower than the PC I replaced...

    Any tips on Radeon overclocking?

I have mine running at 370 core and 340 memory. I have a slot cooler on top of it, and have seen no ill effects from overclocking so far. Articles with advice are few and far between.

    Thanks,

It wasn't too bad. I had all the settings turned down, and it ran fine. I have it at medium detail now.

ACK!! Old PCs are perfect to use as file servers and/or routers/firewall Linux boxes. That old system runs Mandrake 9.0 with KDE at 1024 resolution with no problems at all. I'm going to add a newer PCI video card (like a GF4 440 with 64mb) along with a USB add-on card. It does it's job well.

Yeah, I would've kept it had it had a HD, video card and cdrom, or the money to get those... oh, and a monitor..
