Windhund playing PS?

I saw a post on the planetside site from a Windhund member (Paladin I think) that looks like they are playing TR on Emerald. If so we should hook up with them sometime. Especially when Platooning comes out.

Do they have a PS forum?

I was in a full squad of the Windhund the other day. Nice guys. Most of them were from Europe. Among them were Halface, Ikon, Spandexian, Helios, and some others that I can't remember.

The windhund was formed for WWIIOL, and a lot of them have gone to PS. While I play AK nightly, after you all log off, I play WH. Or like I said, if I can play in the afternoon, I'll play WH a lot b/c they are a lot of Europeans.

if you see usal, tell him that porter said he smells.

anyway, they are a great group of guys and I've been gaming with the majority of them since 8/2001. They are always friendly, and enjoy teamwork.

Tell them you know porter, and you'd like to work with them....

I don't think kill numbers are a real good indication of how good or dedicated a player you are. For instance, I like to babysit the CC when a base is under attack. You know eventually there will be a cloaker or a squad coming down for the hack. No one wants to sit there - in fact most will bail out after the flag is hacked - but it's necessary. Could I be getting more kills somewhere else? Undoubtably yes, but it's better for the Clan and Squad for me to do this instead. (and it's too much fun seeing the expression on the cloakers face as he eats 6 rockets!)

I think I'm going to switch outfits over to Windhund. AK frequently has 5 or less guys on, and the small squad size takes away some of the teamwork aspect and enjoyment of the game for me.

Were you on last night? We had close to a full squad for quite awhile. I wish I could have played longer but I had a few things I had to get done but I was on from 8:00 till 10:00 last night. We had constant battles, absolutely fierce at times, the entire time I was on. I'm still loving this game whether there are 2 AK or 10 on when I play.

Our goals have never been about being the most efficient strategists at taking down a particular base.

Guaranteeing a maxed out squad night after night is also not one of our goals.

Our goal in Planetside is to have fun playing together.

Sorry if this doesn't sit well with anyone. I find playing with a full squad more enjoyable, and my requests to increase the unit population through recruiting have not come to fruition.

I have never suggested that anyone should be spending more time playing or criticized anyone's PS gameplay. As far as playing together, I find myself frequenly playing alone, which is my point.

It's a game guys, that's all. I have been very scarce too and I do feel bad that I haven't been there to do my part for the team, but I just can't get into the game. I'm sorry to say it, but it's true. All kidding aside you guys have really shown how much it means for good ol' stitchjones to be a part of the game, for both comic releif and just to be a part of the action. But at this point I will not be paying to play this currently. I have gotten back into Perl programming and learning PHP so my time is slowly being eaten up. Plus the fact I am on a health kick so I try to advoid both my television and computer as much as possible. (Go ahead Gunny and Choozoo, put your digs in )
I'm still here for whenever the duty may call. I just need a advance of 12.99$ to help out LOL!!!!!

sorry for the rant guys, but at least it wasn't me whinning about a game being late!!!!!!!
