Thanks. It's 90% PHP-Nuke, a "canned" content management system. I have done some minor customizations on the back-end in the database and a few modules, but nothing too complex. My PHP skills are pretty limited.

To me, it's just my glorified blog.

PHP-Nuke is written using PHP. PHP-Nuke is a complete, downloadable content management system where you can design or download themes, modules, etc. Sort of a website in a box if you will. PHP-Nuke

A blog is a term generally used to designate an online personal journal. Squidly's page is a blog using moveable type. Moveable Type is another content management system or 'website in a box' - just not as many features, but does it's purpose extremely well.

Would you believe right now I do not have a PC running Linux?

It's been about a month now and I miss the hell out of not having Linux loaded... but I built my new PC and then moved my old main pc parts over to my "linux" box. But I was having problems getting Mandrake 9.2 to load (hardware issue on my side) so I installed WinXP Professional. I even have my personal FTP server running off WinXP Pro using Serv-U Pro FTP Server software.

I'm hoping in the next couple of months to buy a used laptop off EBAY and Load Linux on it. I know I could now just dual boot, but I have that XP box working extremely well - Including using it to watch DirecTV on my PC through my MSI VIVO GF4 Ti4600 Card and WinDVR Pro software - and I don't want to mess with it.

Squidly, I was very seriously looking at reproducing your project - but with possibly some of my own twists. Can you tell me what kind of table that (brand, where you bought it, etc) is or is it just something you had lying around? I honestly haven't looked extremely hard, but did a quick search one night and couldn't find anything that really matched what you have.

I bought it at Target. I'm sure you have those in PA. It's just a phone table. If you head to your local Target they probably have the exact same one.

Here's a link to the table.

You can talk to Sir SoilentG at KoV he pops in here once in a while. He runs Mandrake religiously!!!

He helped me setup my machine at work. I run Red Hat though. I did a dual boot system with Windows XP, runs like a champ!!!
One of these days I am going to scrape the money together to setup Linux at home.

Funny you should mention Target Squidly. For now that is my part time job at nights, which is the reason you guys never see me play anymore. The wife is no longer working and even if she was it isn't worth paying for day care so....
But, I have seen these tables, Target does have some good bargains...

Yes Squidly, we do have Target's here that just opened this past year. One of them is a "super store" or whatever they call them. Thanks for the link!
