    New Joystick

I just bought a Logitech USB Freedom 2.4GHz Cordless Joystick off EBAY for $24.00 (Factory Refurb). Since my Logitech Wingman doesn't have a hat switch, I figured I'd try the wireless version that also has the twist grip for rudder, etc. I LOVE my logitech MX700 wireless mouse, so we'll see how this works.

I have a Saitek X35/36 USB HOTAS setup... but it doesn't work in BF1942.

Let me know how you like that. I'm curious as to how responsive wireless is compared to a cable. I had two logitechs before my ms sidewinder. They felt great but I broke each one in about a month. I don't crank on them hard either. I've had my sidewinder for for a year now without any problems.

    Gemini,

I just got this joystick today and must say it seems pretty damn nice. I still need to test it more thoroughly in BF1942, but since I already had the latest Logitech Profilier software installed for my Logitech MOMO wheel, all I did was plug in the USB and it configured and worked right off the bat. Literally a 5 second install.

I bought this refurbished off EBAY. It is in pretty good condition, with just a little wear on the bottom rubber feet.. but nothing that diminishes the $24.00 I paid for it.

I like the feel of it and it's nice to have the hat and the twist for rudder control.
