I just watched it. OMG that was a riot. I liked the screen savers better last year when Morgan, Sarge and Megan were on. Now it's just 'eye' candy and sexual innuendos. Plus Leo and Patrick must have gained all the weight that my man Yoshi lost. It's becoming a bad sitcom on that show. Oh well, I still love watching it so I won't complain.
Oh yeah, I'm on the LAN party tonight so keep a eye out for [AK]stitchjones!!!!!

I agree... it's an extremely entertaining show and I'm glad they don't take their selves too seriously. Martin was OK, but he tended to annoy me at times by being a little too over the top. Megan was good as well, but I like the current crop too.
The look on Sarah's face yesterday after Leo's comment was classic though. :LOL:
I don't really watch XPlay too much as I don't own a console system or have a whole lot of interest in doing so. Although getting the BSG game would be one reason.TechLive is a pretty decent show as well.
The only "complaint" I have is that they talk about Linux quite a bit, but none of the systems they use is Linux. I think they should add one with SuSE or Mandrake loaded so the 'newbs' can see what Linux is all about on the desktop.

XPlay isn't all console related... The do plenty of PC stuff too.
These days tho, there is a ton of overlap. Deux Ex and Armed and Dangerous the two latest examples.

Speaking of TechTV, I saw an article that discusses a possible purchase of TechTV by Comcast Cable. Ever since I returned my digital cable box I've really only missed two channels: Discovery Wings and TechTV. Hopefully Comcast will add TechTV to their regular basic cable line-up.

That's horrible news...as a loyal DirecTV customer I'll probably lose TechTV if that happens. I have a hatred of Comcast bordering on irrational owing to the worst customer service I've ever experienced when I moved into my house last year and will never give them my business again.
LOL You sound like me. I have a pure disdain for cable and phone companies, Verizon in particular. If I can find a way around them, I do. I don't think they would remove TechTV from DirecTV - as that would just limit their viewership numbers and make selling advertising that much more difficult.Originally posted by [AK]The Beast

X-Play is a terrible show. The delivery of jokes and humor is always off. They never should have added Morgan to the show. Adam was better by himself. I don't even bother watching it anymore. I tune over to G4 tv and watch Blister. Now that show is really cool!!!
Morgan = boobage. Get with the program, man.
I enjoy both that and the G4 programming.
