    Arrangements? I stayed at Bribo's house. Gunny and Bribo stopped by and said hi...Stitch was a no-show which surprised everyone.

    Well usually you bring your own PC. They have rentals if you don't feel like lugging your stuff around. One guy rented, IIRC.

    It wasn't a huge turnout, but everything went well.

    I won, so I'm happy.

    Extra $5 I think. Bringing the total to $25 for the event. $25 dollars covers 7+ hours of gaming, pizza, snacks, soda, coffee and getting to personally look your opponent in the eye when you own him.

    Speaking of LAN parties, we should start planning an East Coast AK LAN party for the upcoming year.

    Why play something other than CS? CS is awesome for lan parties. 1.6 is really cool.

    I agree. CS is still tons of fun. CS 1.6 has some great improvements. The game is very affordable for people who do not have it. It's also properly built for tournament play.

    What's not to like? Besides, the actual tourney usually takes a few hours then your open to play whatever pick-up game you'd like after that (and before tourney play as well).

    Since I have never been to one, and BTW if you guys plan one for the East Coast I will make every attempt to make it there.....

    I thought Squidly was going to do one in NJ? Did this one already take place?
