    New card or new processor?

Since it looks like I'm going to have to do an upgrade for BF: Vietnam, what's the best way to determine if I need a new video card or processor?

    Right now I'm running a GeForce 4 TI4600 and a 2.59 gHz P4 w/ a gig of memory.

I'd go video card. Getting a new processor will just choke that video card even further. I'm running a P4 2.4 o/c to 3.0. So I'm not all that far ahead of you in processor power.

I think your money would be better spent on the video card.

It seems that my framerate has gone down significantly with BFV and my video card is starting to hang my system more and more frequently.

Actually I just didn't have the driver settings right. The new drivers were set to let the game choose the options. I manually turned off anti-aliasing, anisitropic filtering and v-sync and everything's fine now.
