gone rafting

So tomorrow I am off to Moab UT. to go river rafting. I am really excitied about going and braving the white water. I like to be in nature and this trip will have it all hiking, camping, and off course the river. This is the company I chose. I will be back Mon. so in advance have great barbucues and enjoy the day with your families. I will post pictures when I return.

Hey, have a great time!

Hopefully the outfit you're hooked up with will find a rapid that you can do solo in your life jacket. My uncle used to be a white water guide and I've had the good fortune to do a helluva lot of rafting in my time. The most fun I've ever had is shooting rapids with no raft. Just try to keep aimed forward with your knees tucked to your chest and your butt will bounce you off of the big rocks. I'm not kidding. Between rafting and SCUBA diving, I've gone from fearing water to being almost duck-like. (as in ducking flying vegetables from the peanut gallery...)

Remember, if you go into the drink, HOLD ONTO YOUR PADDLE!
