Of course we understand that we're making generalizations. However polls seem to indicate that the clear majority of the French people are "in agreement" with their goverment on these and other issues (The US, The Israeli/Palestinian conflict, etc.)

The Muslim population in France is skyrocketing, so I'm not too surprised at the support for some of these issues.

One of the reasons I thought the French did not support us on going into Iraq was they were probably suppying WMD's. I also think that they helped Saddam get alot of those weapons out of the country before we got there.

I realize this is all speculation, however reading this article makes one wonder how deep the French is in all this....
