Draft day info

I posted some of this in Hy's "Can you feel it?" thread, but I'll make this sticky so everyone sees it.

-The draft begins automatically at 6:30 PM EDT--each person gets 3 minutes per pick; go over the time limit and it makes the pick for you based on pre-rankings. The clock starts automatically, so be on time or you may miss a pick. Yahoo suggests arriving 10 minutes early; I'll be on Ventrilo around 6 PM.

-Chat room: I've talked with friends who did a Yahoo league last year, and they're pretty sure that Yahoo provides a chat room for while we draft. If there's not, however, Squidly has offered to let us use his Seahawks chat room on his squidly.com website.

-Ventrilo: Participation is encouraged. There will be one non-AK member ("Andy Reid") sharing my microphone during the draft. I'll create a FF draft channel so we don't bother the Doom 3 players.

That was WAY quicker than I thought it was going to be. Stitch, you really did pre-rank well--you should be pleased with the results. I thought people's heads were going to explode when Choozoo picked Boston. Camel, sorry you missed it. I didn't see your post until the draft was well under way. You ended up OK for the most part--you may want to reconsider Tim Brown--the Raiders released him this week, although there's talk Philly's interested in him as a #2 or 3 WR. Also, IMHO, your RBs are a little weak--Eddie George is a question mark and I don't know how many carries Bettis will get behind Staley (who's on my team ).
