    Hurricane Charley

Hey guys I just wanted to wish all the other FL residents well with the Hurricane. So far not much is happening in Orlando with it just a lot of rain. Hope no body lived close to where it came to shore looked pretty nasty. Everyone in the path of the hurricane good luck. From what I hear I think we might need it.

Thanks guys for all the luck. I made it through with no problems. Can't say the same about my complex and sourounding areas. I have some pretty wicked pictures to show you of some of the things that Charley did to us in the Orlando area. What a nasty storm Charlie turned out to be. He came he saw he kicked our butts. I thought for sure that the Tampa area was going to be flatened. The storm hit my area with sustained winds at around 100mph. Made all the neighborhoods around look like a warzone. Still without power the power comapny has said that I will probably not have power until Friday at 12:00am. Hope Pops's is ok I just saw that he had to get out of the path of the storm. Can't wait to get back to the daily routine again and to get on-line and join you all for some DC and throw back a few colds ones.

Those were some wild pics. Hard to believe that all that damage was caused due to wind. Tampa was lucky they skated the edges of the storm. Sanibel and Captiva Islands further south were not as lucky. Last I heard Captiva was split in two.

I am glad that it is all over and done with now. Power back on and some of the clean up has started. Still shocked at the damage that we received in central florida. Nothing like Punta Gorda and the islands though.

Power is back on and a/c flowing what a wonderful thing. I will be looking forward to jumping back in and playing a little DC.

It's amazing how contained that storm was. In Sarasota, about 30 miles away, they got light drizzle and no wind.

    Bang Huricane Frances now

Looks like us Floridians are in for more of a bad time. From the looks of it Orlando is right on the path of the new Hurricane Frances. Hardly any gas and supplies around to boot. Been looking for playwood for the past week and have had no luck. Good old Florida we are so screwed lol. Maybe it is a sign to move out and find a place where these type of things do not happen lol.

To all the members out their in Florida buckle down and be safe looks like we are in for a heck of a ride this time around.

This one is heading my way as well. Looks like it gonna pack a lot of rain. Were under rainfall averages atm so perhaps it wont be aweful bad here. Things could get nasty in already rain soaked areas south tho.

have to keep an eye on it for sure!

Theres another one heading this way named Ivan as well!

Hey guys I am back in my place. Frances knocked out power for a week with all of the rain that she was packing. I can't wait for Hurricane season to end. I will try and get on later tonight.

    P.S. Hurricanes Suck!!!
