World of Warcraft

I was curious if any of you have been playing the demo? I decided against getting FP account so I am out in the cold, but I would be interested in hearing some of your reviews of the demo. I have yet to decide which game I will buy when they come out, WoW or Everquest 2. I am am currently leaning towards the latter.

I was let down with WoW. I played it for maybe a total of 4 hours. There is just nothing about it that hooks me. I now know that I will be looking into EQ2 when it comes out.

I have enjoyed WoW. The graphics are pretty (albeit a little dated), the action is fast-paced with little to no downtime (at least up to level 9, which is what I currently am), the quests are entertaining and plentiful, the world is varied and interesting, and the sound and music are typical Blizzard faire (i.e., top-notch). It has a lot going for it, but EQ2 still looks like the next big thing in MMORPGs.

Not related at all, but I'm looking forward to the "BF1942-esque" Star Wars offering that's due out soon. Battlegrounds I think it's called? I believe it went gold not too long ago.

It's supposed to come out the same day as the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD.
