After a hard day in Iraq, Dale Rogers, 503e American regiment of infantry, needs a good beer to make pass the taste of sand and blood. In order not to cut down his pay by drink expenses, the Rogers sergeant created Beer for Soldiers. "an Internet site which makes it possible to the patriots to pay us glass", explains Dale.

Opened in February whereas its unit was stationed in South Korea, the site gains a certain success. Several contributions are possible, going from 2 to 20 dollars. "I went in a pub where twenties to thirty soldiers were accoudés with the bar and I launched to the barman: ' free Beer for everyone!' ", tell it, nostalgic.

The initiative of Dale Rogers drew the attention of the Stars and Stripes, the daily newspaper of the American forces, which devoted an article to him. But this publicity appeared against-productive.
