Battlefield Vietnam 1.2 patch

It's out...you can download it here.

Be warned, the patch is huge (over 200 MB for the incremental 1.1 to 1.2; almost 300 MB for 1.0 to 1.2). I'll put both on the AK FTP server tomorrow.

In case anyone cares, here's the 1.2 review

Very different feel in the new maps, with the tunnels, much like having 2 maps in one. Maps seem to be larger. Tunnels, however, get bunged up as killing fields, with limited motion...1 person wide..and someone sitting there just pegging you off, but there always seems to be away around the bugger. Not many choppers...new anti-air truck for US is a bit week, didn't take down a single chopper (but that might be due to the lack of them!) Works much like a shilka or vulcan though as you can use it to mow down the opposition infantry. Good new maps...intersting new vehicles (I espcially like the new US mini tank thingy...) 7.5/10

I installed it last night. I'll give it a try after work tonight, although I am also going to purchase T V today as well! Sounds like a good weekend in front of the puter
