They used the analogy of Tin Cup on Mike Martz insisting on throwing... well they should have used it to also describe Mike Holmgren in the 4th quarter whenever the Hawks have the lead.

Holmgrens game plan.. if we have 1 point or more lead.. pull scrotum tight, run Alexander 3 straight times into the heart of the defensive line. Punt. Plazy soft zone defense. Rinse. Repeat. Lose.

They should not allow him to see the score of the game. He should told they are down 10 points at all times for 60 minutes.

Disgusting. Squidly will be in here defending the Scrotum Tuck Offense... but there is no excuse for it as it loses you games. Period.

Giants fans are very familiar with the STO. Jim Fassel was a big proponent of "playing not to lose" instead of playing to win.

Thankfully, Coughlin seems to have instilled a bit of killer instinct into this year's squad.

I was rooting hard for the Seahawks, as my opponent in the other league I'm in had Marc Bulger. In the final two Rams drive of the third quarter, I went from being up by 10 to being down by 20. Meh.

Oh well, at least I beat Slaughter.

The only bright side I can think of is hopefully the players quit patting eachother on the back and listening to the hype, worrying about what to name themselves, etc. They need to realize that Holmgren is not going to put them in a good position to protect their lead and they alone have to step up and find a way to win in spite of Holmgrens play calling at the end of games.

I really like MH as a coach, except when we have the lead late in games. He coaches like a Liberal waiting for France, Russia and the UN to vote on a resolution declaring them the winner. (Oh, sorry.. not the political forum. )

With Quentin Griffin not playing, Mick Vick not doing so hot, and not playing Ashley Lelie.. I sucked pretty bad.. Specially since Seattle gave up their game.

Oh well.. even if I had my high scorers in I still wouldn't have beaten you.. back to the drawing board I guess.
