    Lockups

    Whats the best way to figure out if lockups are being caused either by sound or video? Lately I am getting lockups in DC, I think it is my Sound Blaster Audigy II causing it because when it locks, whatever sound was playing at the time just keeps looping. I'd try playing with the sound off for a while but the lockups are not that consistent.
    And yes, I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

    Try to reinstall your sound card! I had the same problem with Sound blaster live and that took care of it!
