Well Best Buy had a 10% off sale and I made the plunge Friday night.

I've been wanting these guys for years now. Ever since I first saw them on Tech TV and heard about how incredible they were. I've been hoping and planning on the day that I could be a proud owner of the set. And now that I am, OMG what a incredible and worthwhile investment. These guys are fantastic.

The only concern I had at first was the connection to my pc. They have a 3 wire hookup for the Fronts Rears and Center. With my previous speaker system that was digital. I only had one cable hooked up to my Audigy card. So having to dig out the manual, it said nothing about multi cable connections. Then as I dug around on the creative website, I found that you can plug the three cables in and the card will know to send the proper sounds to the right channels. This is also true for most motherboards that have 5.1 onboard sound. So if your motherboard was made within the last two years, you would be able to hook these up for the full effect.

Now i'm in the land of "BIG-BADA-BOOM"

I'm a headphone guy myself .. but I've heard/read nothing but great things about those speakers.

I still use Creative I-Trigue 2.1s on my systems.

I have the old Audigy Xgamer and have the 3 wire setup hooked up to it(and it only has 2 plug ins, but works just the same) <3 the Logitech Z-680 5.1 speakers.
