My NIKON digital camera takes movies - which is a pretty neat feature. The only problem is that it takes thim in .mov format. I hate quicktime and would like to be able to view these files someway else.
Any suggestions?

Yeah, Quicktime sucks. Try this util: RAD Video Tools
I haven't used it myself, but I've heard good things about it.
Thanks Beast, this seems like a pretty neat little program. It's only giving me audio though - I wonder if you have to have QT installed for it to work...
Or even better, I just downloaded an alternative program that lets Windows Media Player play the file, without having to install the dreadfull quicktime. Here's a link for those interested:
