At first glance, this seems like a good deal to get some decent surround sound speakers for gaming and music. Any comments?

It's only 280watts.. Its good, but not great.

For the money it's a really nice little setup. and think about it. How big is your gaming/computer room anyways. It will sound really nice no matter what. Go for it man!
I just don't settle for anything under 400watts I guess...

Scratch that last post. That's a Z-2300 that Sam's Club has.
Your speakers (or the next generation of them) sell for $199 at Best Buy. Looks like a good deal on Ebay, which is odd.

Yeah.. I saw them at Best Buy Friday when I took my laptop in to get fixed... poor thing.
If you read it it clearly states the guy has owned them for a few months, at least I think I remember reading that.

That damn Geek Squad ambushed me when I was buying my Klipsch Pro-Media set. They kept yammering that they could install and set it up for me. Those two bastards followed me all the way to the checkout line. Talk about dorks, err I mean geeks.

Pfft, I should have known. I set my bid as high as I could possibly imagine paying for this used equipment, with stain, without warrentee, condition unknown and seller unknown. So of course, some clown waits until 20 seconds before the end of the auction and runs it up against some other clowns to almost $100.
Meanwhile you can buy new in box next generation 5300e speakers for just $133.
