    Back...

As some of you know, my wife and I went to NY City for a few days for the NY International Auto Show and to just explore around.

I have about 400mb of Pictures to upload at some point, and I'll share a link when I get them uploaded and install Gallery on my website for viewing.

The weather cooperated and walking around both days was great. Our room at the Manhattan Sheraton Hotel & Towers was extremely nice and quiet on the 31st floor, we were only a few blocks off Central Park, and the Javits center was only a $5 cab ride away. The only downside is we didn't make it down to Ground Zero like we had hoped too.

Diet went to hell between all the bakeries and the ESPN Zone though.. but at least I had about 8 miles of walking in to help compensate - my poor doggies are barking!

Looks like I didn't miss much excitement on the WoW front other than down time. At least I hit 57 before I left.

Stitch.... Jeep actually wasn't inside the Javits Center, they had their own setup outside called Jeep Planet or something like that. They had this 'path' of hills, water, etc that you could actually ride in a jeep on. I think all the vehicles were remote controlled or programmed. The line was ridiculously long, so we didn't go on the ride.. but the one incline looked like it would have been fun to be in as it was pretty damn steep.

I don't recall if I took any pictures in there or not, as there wasn't anything extraordinary in there though. I believe we went in there when I ran out of memory stick space and prior to me running over to Office Depot to buy another 128mb stick. <G> There was the one concept vehicle, but I don't think I took any pictures of that - Sorry!

Choozoo.. we didn't stop at McSorley's unfortunately.

Just an FYI.. I have uploaded the photos from our trip. You can visit my site at Husted.cc. On the right hand side there is a link 'The Husted Gallery' you can click on to get to the gallery. Please let me know if you have any problems, as I just 'threw it up' using the Gallery package. It all seems to be working, but I haven't tested out everything.

Additionally, I haven't commented every picture yet - obviously - but I have tried to comment on the more interesting ones as I was uploading.

    Great pics!

Those shots of the new Viper, in particular, were almost pr0n-like as far as I'm concerned. I don't know a lot about cars, but I just love the look of the Viper--probably my favorite modern-day car.

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.
