    Good practice knights!

I've very excited with our efforts on Desicator. While it was our first attempt to pull together of strategies and check them out, it showed great promise.

The offensive was giving the defense a lot of looks and were able to take the gens down often. This put additional pressure on flag defense. The defense playing this map for the first time together did many things well. I'm confident that a couple more practices will give us even better results.

Tombstone is just a goofy map...both sides have unique challenges for both offense and defense. It seems to be a offense designed map. Our efforts with 6 or 7 guys is going to be very difficult at best. More run throughs on this map are needed to pull together the right balance of LD and HD to stop offense.

We are going to schedule a scrimmage for next Wednesday night. I'm hoping we can get these two maps played in our scrimmage

    Again, good practice...well fought.

If we're going to scrim Tombstone, give us plenty of lead time on which side we will have. I'm not so much worried about getting the better side, but I want the HOs to get to know the routes they'll be taking.

In the scrim on Tombstone the O and D will also have to consider the main base area. I've always found it pretty easy to defend those gens with the help of a couple well placed spiders, an inv and some mines.

I guess the question is: How seriously do we want to harass that base/gens? How many O do we commit to that task? What type of O? (HOs for brute force or LO for stealth?) The more attention to the primary base the less effective our attack on the flag area.

    What do you guys think?

Unfortunately, I do. We need to move this to the private forums. I'll repost there.
