I'm not downloading the client, but I've connected to the talk.google.com server using the Jabber plugin for Trillain Pro. It shows me connected, but I haven't found anyone to attempt to talk to on it yet.

Yeah, I sent two authorizations and its says Im waiting for your authorization. I just had another friend do the same thing and had the exact same problem. Sure its a problem on my end with the jabber plugin.

Do you need a Gmail account to use this service? Thus far, I haven't signed up for a gmail--all I need is another e-mail account to keep track of.
