I think I enjoyed Firefly because it was Sci-Fi that my wife enjoyed. Luckily, she also love BattleStar... whew!
Comcast, in my area, has all the Firefly episodes on their On-Demand service. Very cool.

Thanks for the edit squid. Fortunately I was AFK when Stitch posted, but I have NOT seen any of Firefly but the first 3 eposodes. I am so looking forward to enjoying this series that I will be buying the boxset and the film on-line while on the road, and timing it to arrive at my house shortly after I get home.
And I HATE it when its ruined by spoilers, so for me in particulary, you have done a good public service.

Just my thoughts here:
Saw this before. But, Joss has stated that he has moved on. I, personaly, believe if it can't be done right then don't do it. I remember season 5 of Babylon 5 after it was cancelled and the fans put the pressure on and had it continued for a 5'th year.... and it sucked. If anyone liked season 5 of Bab 5 then I apologize but it sucked big time.
I thought the movie was great and maybe another movie or two sometime but I am willing to let the series die. It was a short brilliant flash and then it was gone. I am happy with that. I would rather see a brilliant flash than the descent into suckitude that was season 5 of Babylon 5.
On a side note the same thing happened with the origional Star Trek. It was cancelled after a second season and a grass roots effort from fans got it extended to a season 3. While the origional Star Trek season 3 had its good shows it had LOTS of sucky episodes... anyone remember Spock's Brain? Or the space hippies episode? That was season 3 of Star Trek. It fared much better than Babylon 5.
Also I don't get excited about podcasts and such since I have no devices capable of that and don't see myself getting them.
I'll miss Firefly but I would rather not see it suck.

I didn't know that. Maybe I've just not cared enough to look into them. Not like they offer anything on podcast that I'm interested in. Mostly sports stuff, talk shows and music videos from what I've seen and no interest in any of that.
If Firefly came out in podcast then I'd look into it but my hopes are low for the continuation of the series. I don't want to see it become junk.
