Every park in the National Parks System collects entrance data, to record how many visitors came into the park on each day. This data can be useful in selecting what weeks to set your travel plans, in order to avoid particular peak weeks.
Challange: Can you find out how to access this data via the internet? In particular, can you find the daily entrance data for Glacier park for the weeks within the month of July in 2005 and 2004?

Unfortunately it looks like the most granular data is only monthly. I'll keep looking though.

On Saturday I took the family out to Yosemite (about 2 hours from me). We were expecting it be a snowy wonderland... nope. In fact, no snow at all. But at least the park was only about 25% full compared to summer time. I strongly recommend this time of year for national parks... mainly due to the low number of visitors. Get out and support your national parks!
