    Thread Starter: World Cup

I caught the ECU / POl game (wanted ECU to win... love the underdog, especially one that's never been in the WC before.

ANG / POR... boo hoo. Again, I wanted ANG to win this one.

I caught half of the TRI / SWE game and was bummed that TRI didn't clinch a win.

USA vs. Czech starts in a few minutes. It's a shame that only the UK residents can access the free streaming BBS coverage. I may download ORB tonight and see if I can stream the video from my PC at home (with TV tuner) to the net so I can watch from work.

I doubt the USA will make it very far.

I was looking for the option: "I don't watch third world socialist sports.", but couldn't seem to find it.

USA loses 3-0 to Czech Republic.

I've been trying to keep up with all the games as much as possible. I really wish Trinidad and Tobago would have come out with a win....but with their performance and playing a man down they did pretty damn good.

Can't wait for the Brazil game tomorrow, its a lot more fun watching when you are watching the best guys in the world.

No, Liberals do too - which is close enough I suppose.

Do you know why there are so many riots and fights at soccer games? What do you expect when you gather 100,000+ people together in a stadium and there is nothing to do??

Nuts: I appreciate the effort. It's the thought that counts!

Soccer is OK. My kids play. They have fun. I can't really get into it though on TV. Fun to watch live though. Same thing goes for hockey.

I play soccer, and I am not socialist, nor liberal.

Yes I am, and I really enjoy it, but I am getting lonely, aside from Nuts I am not sure who else is playing it. I have not seen Fight Club in a while, he was really playing it a lot as well...
