    Garmin Street Pilot c330

I just purchased a Garmin Street Pilot c330 street navigator. It rocks and is really accruate. As the summer is full on now I am wanting to pursue other activities more so on the water.

I enjoy scuba diving and I wanted to know if the navigator that I purchased can go to a specific GPS location. I am sure it is just a matter of software. Not sure if anyone else in here has used it? I do not think that it would be that much difference between the marine and street GPS units.

The sound is all about the wood and the pickups. Bartolini all the time...

I work in a boat store, we sell those, I used to be more up to date on them, when I go in this weekend I'll do some research for ya. Pricey little toy. You can program a waypoint, a little dot at any geographic location in the world and then just tell the gps to "go there" bear in mind they dont distinguish between ground and water (even if they show them on the screen) so sometimes telling it to go straight to one place will send you through a landmass or even a continent You can program other waypoints to accomadate this. For example, you are at A you want to go to B. Island is in the way, make a second waypoint next to the island, then tell it to make a route through that one to your destination, it will go to the other dot, then turn and go to your destination.

Thanks for the help. The Garmmin thing I have is also called the street pilot. It is awesome to get door to door even with the most complicated of locations. This thing goes from a physical address that is typed in. Would be nice to load it with a gps way point. So I can visit toilet bowl reef and get some lobsters fresh.

Clay and I are going on a road trip to Glacier and we are taking the GPS to geocache.

We had a blast doing this in Itasca

The little thing rocks, picks up where ever I am in any state. I would think that it would be a software patch to load in to find a gps location. I e-mailed Garmin, and no respose. Figures...
