Hey guys,
For those who don't know me, I'm coming in from WoW and known there as Osred; though my BF name is "Ozred".

So far I love the game. Been a while since I played a FPS on PC, but love the way they've come along. I did play some UT2004 but I don't think it's really in the same class at all. This game rocks and I'm looking forward to some of the unlocked equipment.

So, I was hoping you guys still had a spot open so I can start learning from your veteren knowledge.

Hopefully I'll see ya all on a battlefield soon.

If you were in WoW, then hopefully you know our Vent server. You can also use the BF2 Rankings sticky to find us. FightClub and I are just giddy that the WoW folks are branching out.

We are using Camels Vent server (the old WoW one) and not the VV Vent server. Hop on and join in the fun. There is usually at least one of us on every night and Wednesday night is the AK BF2 night where you can find a slew of us.

I'm buying it and a new video card tonight, is there anything special to do/know? Any special expansion packs to buy, or just vanilla?

I think most of us have the Special Forces expansion at this point. That'll cost you $20 most places, if purchased separately--it may be available as some sort of bundle.

If you do buy both, install vanilla first, then SF, then patch last.
